Thank you for allowing me the privilege of being your confirmation mentor. I thoroughly enjoyed every time we got together. Hearing about your journey and learning from you helped me grow in my own faith, and I was continuously touched and impressed by your many gifts. You are bright, witty, deeply caring, and wonderfully fun to be around.

One gift I particularly admire is your storytelling. Even before I became your mentor, I had already recognized your talent. I still remember when you shared some of your storylines with me after a Nutcracker performance several years ago. I remember thinking, “Wow! This is fascinating. This is something that could be published, and people would love it!” For days afterward, I found myself pondering your ideas.

Whenever we met for our mentoring sessions, I always looked forward to hearing how you had developed your concepts further. You have a true gift for weaving complex, nuanced narrative arcs with compelling characters and rich plots.

God uses stories to move people, reveal truth, and touch our hearts in ways nothing else can. Think of the story of Creation, God rescuing His people from Egypt, the miracles of Jesus, or the parables Jesus Himself chose to tell. With the extraordinary imagination and natural talent He has given you, I truly believe God has big plans for your voice and the stories you will share.
